![]() ![]() Didn't eat anything on that plate and never happened again. We ordered room service the remainder of the stay for breakfast and that was great Except for the very first breakfast as I had a hair on my burrito. Long lines for the food which is surprising considering the limited capacity at this time. We had breakfast at Market Cafe only once. Another couple were finishing up and complaining about service and food but we do not share their opinion here. Had a problem getting the right drinks but they were all good. Sliding door needs to be closed to work but stays around 80% humidity and as hot as 77f. Struggles to keep up during the heat of the day. This trip for us was all about the downtime. We spent lots of time in the room and swim out pool. ![]() Maria was informative with what is available at the resort and very friendly. Then we went outside to wait for our ride. Your luggage is held which you go inside to the desk and fill out all kinds of things with your phone because of the world situation. Its with Amstar, which also books excursions and was a little pushy on the upsell. First, private transport to and from the airport is the way to go. My first review was done out of haste after an incident on 9/22. Travel dates 9/172020 thru Opinions and experiences are my own. No beach access steps are literally washed away from a storm, and rough riptides mean no swimming at this time Recommend going at 8:30/8:45 and waiting with coffee before concierge opens at 9 in order to get a reservation you’re happy with (or at all). Our side by side ATV from Amstar through cactus tours was $290 the same tour on cactus tours online (with transportation) is $232 - Hibachi reservations are day of. We did have a couple of issues during our stay, one is that their reservation system for the restaurants do not work, they did nos respect our reservation. ![]() We had a free room upgrade which was really nice. The welcome was really nice, they offered us beverages and food from the beggining, we did have to wait for check in, but since we already had Margaritas in our hands it was not that bad.
